| This reminds me an old joke.
Question: “What’s the difference between ignorance and indifference?”
Answer: “I don’t know, and I don’t care.”
When someone says "I don't care", he means that he has no particular interest or sympathy on the topic/person discussed. Or, the topic does not concern him at all.
"Care" can also be used to express as an invitation.
"Care for a cup of coffee?" = "Would you like to have a cup of coffee?" ... |
